  • Parish Survey Report

Many parishoners joined the Sunday Forum on 17 December to learn about how the search committee will use the results of our parish survey.

  • Parish Focus Groups in November

The Search Committee will be facilitating a series of Focus Groups to allow parishioners to share more specifics about what they would like to see in a new Rector. These small groups will be asked to answer 2-3 questions, during either the November 12th Forum, or at a meeting of anther group they participate in (such as Bible Study).

The Search committee held three additional planning meetings in the past week. Processes for the two subcommittees were discussed and approved. The Focus Group sub-committee developed a framework for parishioners to give additional information about their experience and desires. This will begin over the next month.

The Communication sub-committee presented their communication plan including processes and content to the group. This will be completed and shared with the parish in late October.

The committee and Vestry have scheduled a late October meeting with the consultants who administered the survey. Once the information has been compiled, we will share it with everyone, so stay tuned.

The Search and Profile committees had their first joint meeting on Monday October 2nd. Participants shared their interest in participating in this important task. A common theme was appreciation for our church community and an understanding that we are on this journey to find the best Rector for this community.

The committees spoke of our upcoming milestones and as a result created two working groups from our team; Communication sub-committee and Focus Group sub-committee. We will share more information about the milestones and dates with everyone in the near future.

We implore you to take the parish survey, so we hear about wants and priorities from as many voices as possible. Please contact Natalie if you need any help with the survey.
