Summit in Honduras is involved in caring for and about people in rural areas of Honduras.  The mission trips focus on both medical and construction outreach in an ongoing effort to help attain sustainability. 

The 2009 spring trip was from April 30-May 9^th.  A small team of five people worked on the clinic in Chalmeca which Summit in Honduras is partnering with as part of their medical outreach.  There was also training of nine new Health Guardians for a total of 22 now working in the villages where Summit in Honduras has been focusing on medical outreach.

Maggie Ducayet and Cesar Muņoz recently traveled to visit Summit in Honduras "partner" villages and plan for the next trip, a medical mission, scheduled for the beginning of January.
